Who We Are-Brief History
Non-profit International Scientific and Pedagogical Organization of Philologists " West - East " - ISPOP, was founded on September 12, 2018, by persons who are interested in becoming part of an international family of philologists and teachers, a community of teachers, scholars-philologists, and young professionals in Georgia and around the world.
West-East has established close partnerships with the following organizations and universities: The Tskhum-Abkhazian Academy of Sciences (Georgia), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), Preshov University (Slovakia), Peoples' Friendship University, Moscow City Pedagogical University (Russia), Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture (Ukraine).

Organization's Mission and Strategic Goals
The mission of the organization (ISPOP) is to actively involve the world's philological scientists, as well as native and foreign language teachers in the process of globalization and internationalization; the strategic goals of the organization are: to provide the necessary scientific and professional development of philological scientists and teachers living in Georgia; support young scientists, scientific and educational activities of internally displaced persons and national minorities living in Georgia.
The field of activity of the organization is facilitating scientific and pedagogical professional realization of philologists. In order to carry out strategic goals, the organization, in accordance with the established legislation, carries out the following activities:
- Publishing of scientific journals;
- Conducting conferences (forums, congresses, symposiums);
- Conducting various trainings to enhance the professional level;
- Editing, correcting, preparing monographs;
- Accessing all of these services by mobilizing resources to those who have no financial access to it;
- Disseminating information on all of this in order to enter various scientific and pedagogical organizations and universities in these processes.
On 10, 11 and 12 October 2019, an international forum will be held on the theme "Language; Culture; Translation. Comparative-Researches "Also in January 2019, the first edition of the international scientific journal "West-East" will be released.
The organization uses donations as well as grants for implementing the organizational activities encourage scientific and pedagogic activities.
