1st International Scientific Conference Language, Translation and Intercultural Communication
25-31 August 2022 Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia held the 1st International Academic Conference "Language, Translation and Intercultural Communication". The conference was attended by 70 registered participants, linguists, Salafists, translators, researchers and students from 17 countries and two continents: Australia (Melbourne), Austria (Vienna), Bulgaria (Sofia, Burgas), Cyprus, Montenegro (Cetinje, Niksic, Podgorica), Georgia (Tbilisi), Croatia (Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Zagreb), Ireland (Dublin, Trinity College), Italy (Trieste), Latvia (Riga), Germany (Munich), Poland (Krakow, Lublin, Poland (Krakow, Lublin, Warsaw), Slovakia (Bratislava, Nitra, Presov, Trnava), Serbia (Vojvodina, Novi Sad), Spain (Granada), Switzerland (Fribourg) and Ukraine. Official languages The official languages of the Conference are all Slavonic languages and English. The Conference is organized in a hybrid The conference is organized in a hybrid format, with live and face-to-face sessions. The conference offers two plenary sessions, 10 sessions, round table, workshop, and networking opportunities. After the pandemic years of COVID-19 (2019-2022), this conference will be an ideal opportunity for participants to network live and exchange knowledge, experiences and gain personal contacts which will help to establish fruitful and long-lasting communication between researchers and participants in a wide range of scientific fields. The Deputy Director of the International Scientific and Pedagogical Organization of Philologists West-East ISPOP - Zoia Adamia addressed the Plenary Session of the conference with the theme "Digital technologies in foreign language teaching (about the conference experience)" and was awarded a certificate for active participation as a member of the International Scientific Committee and a key speaker with a conference report.Date: 26-08-2022
